Anonymous Sales
Anonymous sales let buyers purchase from your store page without creating a Ludilol account. This lowers friction and can increase conversion rates.
Enabling Anonymous Sales
- Go to Store Pages → Edit your page
- Toggle Allow Anonymous Sales
- Save
Once enabled, your store page becomes available at both:
/pages/{slug}— Regular store page (requires login to buy)/s/{slug}— Anonymous store page (email-only purchase)
How It Works
Buyer Experience
- Buyer visits
/s/{slug} - Enters only an email address
- Receives a payment page with a Bitcoin QR code
- Pays within the 4-hour window
- Receives an email with a claim code
- Uses the claim code to:
- Play the game immediately (
/claim/{code}/play) - Check order status (
/order-status/{code}) - Later claim to an account (
/claim)
- Play the game immediately (
What You See as a Seller
Anonymous orders appear in your seller orders just like regular orders, with:
IsAnonymous = true- The buyer's email address
- The claim code (for support purposes)
Claim Codes
Each anonymous order generates a unique claim code that:
- Grants access to all games in the bundle
- Can be claimed to a Ludilol account later (adds games to library permanently)
- Supports one-time browser play for HTML5 games
- Can be used to resend purchase instructions
Invoice Support
If you have invoices enabled on the store page, anonymous buyers also receive invoices at their email address.
Considerations
- Anonymous sales may require additional credits
- Buyers without accounts cannot leave reviews or tags
- Consider enabling anonymous sales for impulse purchases and event demos
- The claim code is the buyer's only proof of purchase — remind them to save it
